Community Nutrition Experiences
- Lead a Cooking Matters at the Store grocery store tour at Marcs in Garfield Heights
- Presented to 4th Graders a MyPlate Presentation with physically active learning games
- Completed many webinars and trainings including WIC training, Dairy Council Dietary Counseling, Teaching Children Nutrition with Storybooks, Foodservice Financial Management, and Upcoming School Foodservice Regulations.
- Created a business plan with a team of four others for a business called the Wellness Kitchen, a cooking classes specifically designed to help individuals learn healthy cooking techniques. See the website and logo I created for the Wellness Kitchen here.
- Lead two interactive cooking demonstrations at Jennings Center for Older Adults, making yogurt fruit parfaits and whole wheat banana bread.
